Like any female, I am made of of sugar and spice- love sweet things and I love making my own little treats, there's something really rewarding about making a batch up and reaping the rewards as well as others loving them as well. I would of never ever thought of making caramel in a microwave, I am definitely going to have to give this one a go!

I love caramels! What's great is that this recipe is made with the microwave. I already have all the ingredients. The author really walks you through the cooking times which is very nice. I like softer caramels so I will go with the shorter time. Great tip on preventing grainy caramels.

I love how this recipe sounds! I have decided to make candies along with my cookies as gifts this year. Everyone loves a good caramel! I can't wait to try this. The ingredients are so easy! Has anyone ever tried dipping these in chocolate after they have set? I was just wondering if this could be a good chocolate covered caramel. That would be great!

I can't wait to try this recipe. I've been looking for a candy recipe to ad to my cookie exchange, and I think these caramels will be perfect. The recipe looks like it will be easy to follow and I like how specific it is with regards to cooking times, and what to look for as you go along.
