I've used a similar idea in the past to make meatball submarines. And this reminds me of the lovely bread soup bowls that I've had before. I like Aunt Karolyn's idea below of using this idea for a pizza party. I've dealt with pizza parties before and they can hard to manage with all the crusts unless you have a reasonably large space. This is a much more compact and tasty was to do this. It's a great time and I thank you for sharing!

We use this idea to make pizzas on English muffins. I like the bun idea. I think toasting them will give them the crunch they need to hold up to the pizza sauce and the grease from the pepperoni, sausage, or beef, and cheese. We found that worked best for our little pizzas.

When it comes to satisfying your pizza cravings, it really doesn't get simpler than this. There is a little bakery near my house that makes the best sub buns fresh daily. They are a staple in our home for quick garlic bread, meatball subs (my husband's fave) and things like this. They are so easy to eat, and taste just like the pizza subs I used to get from my favorite local pizzeria - but much cheaper to make yourself!

The next time you think of having frozen pizza...don't. These Pizza Pillows are just as easy and so much better. If you live alone and just want to whip one up for yourself, it's perfect. (I've done that) I have also had a bunch of friends over, and we all gathered around the kitchen island where I had a variety of different toppings available...pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, you get the idea. Everyone got to make there own, we popped them in the oven, and moved the party to the family room for movie time.

I've made quick and easy pizza with sliced French bread and tortillas for the base, but this looks even better. This is almost like a pizza pie, with plenty of room for lots of oozing filling. I think I'd fill it with loads of roasted vegetables and melted cheese. You could even break an egg in the middle to increase your protein intake. Mouthwatering.
