Apple Cider Syrup

Apple Cider Syrup
"This apple cider syrup is a cozy, spice-filled treat that tastes like autumn in a cup. Unlike plain reductions, mine gets an herbal twist from rosemary and a full bouquet of whole spices — cinnamon, cloves, and star anise — that slowly infuse into the cider as it simmers. The result? An apple syrup that’s rich, fragrant, and just begging to be drizzled over cornmeal pancakes or your favorite oatmeal waffles. Use it as a simple syrup in drinks, like my apple cider bourbon cocktail. Or added to your favorite bakes in place of maple syrup. I have even used it as a glaze on my apple tart. One whiff and you’ll understand why this is worth making over and over again."
