Waldorf Salad Recipe
"A Waldorf Salad Recipe is one of my all-time favorites. It has the crunchy goodness from Granny Smith apples, walnuts, celery, and grapes. Yes, grapes can be crunchy, too!! In the fall, we get what I believe is an Autumn Crisp grape that is as crunchy as an apple and so deliciously sweet. All year round, though, you can get gorgeous green grapes. A Waldorf Salad consists of celery, apples, walnuts and grapes in a mayonnaise dressing. It sometimes includes turkey or chicken. It first made it onto the scene in 1893 at the Waldorf Hotel in New York City and, from there, grew in popularity."
