"This cold crab dip recipe is an easy-to-make appetizer made with cream cheese, crab meat, lemon, and classic seafood seasoning for a smooth, scoopable texture. It's a great choice for hosting because you can make it ahead of time, which keeps the party planning chill. This Cold crab dip recipe was first created while our family was vacationing at the beach. We spend a lot of time on Edisto Island, and somebody’s always got a crab net in the water. Sometimes we come back with a bucket full, and sometimes we don’t. So just in case I pack a couple cans of crab meat either way. That way, this dip gets made regardless. If we catch crabs, great. If not, we make this dip with canned crab meat. It’s just part of the trip now."
