Ingredients

  • 1/2 c Waxing Kara Honey
  • 3 c chocolate chips dark
  • 1/4 c dried super fruit cranberries, blueberries, raisins
  • 1/4 c hemp seeds
  • 1/4 c sunflower seeds
  • 1 c quinoa uncooked
  • 1/2 c walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 c cashews chopped
  • 1/2 c almonds slivered
  • 1/2 c pistachios chopped
  1. Heat your oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large pot combine the honey, coconut oil and vanilla over medium heat. Stir until the coconut oil has melted and the ingredients are combined and smooth.

  3. Add the nuts, uncooked quinoa, and seeds. Stir until all the ingredients are covered evenly.

  4. Spread this mixture out on the prepared pan. Be sure to spread it out evenly across the pan.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, until the granola is golden on the edges.

  6. In the meantime, melt the chocolate by placing in a sauce pan over medium to medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Once melted, spread over the granola, swirling to create beautiful patterns in the chocolate before it sets. Top with coarse sea salt and pistachio pieces.

  7. Place the pan in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set. This should take 30 minutes or so. Remove from the fridge and break into pieces when you’re ready to serve.
