LeaIf this SNACK is Andy Griffith's "favorite recipe," I'll eat my hat. He grew up 2 blocks from my mom's home and dated her sister. He was pure Southern cooking to the core and definitely NOT big on spicy foods..ve a comment...

This recipe has all of my favorite ingredients incorporated into one...it's spicy, cheesy, and has bread too? Yes, please! I'm forever trying to find something quick to make for snacking throughout the day while doing work around the house and don't have time to cook...this is just perfect and I can't wait to make it!

For me the flavors of cheese and chili are a perfect pairing and this Chili Cheese Squares recipe does not disappoint. The only change I made was to use fresh chili instead of the tinned ones. I made them as a snack for our drinks party earlier this week and they were very popular indeed!

I am so going to make these. Cheese and chili are such a nice combination. It is going to be a real treat to snack on these whilst having a nice glass of white wine. It is quick to prepare too. I can't wait! I would imagine that a nice dipping sauce will go well with this too.

Yum! You are speaking my love language. Spicy and cheesy are my fave combos. This looks like a great recipe to bring to a summer potluck. The green chilies could be skipped for those that don't like a little spice or you could even customize it in other ways, too. Definitely a lot of possibilities for a tasty dish. Thanks for sharing!
