    Simply Easy Layered Salad

    Tired of hearing "What's for dinner?" Avoid the question tomorrow by making a Simply Easy Layered Salad today! Your salad will gain flavor as it sits overnight, and you'll be stress-free the next day.

    Ingredients

    • 1 medium head iceburg lettuce, chopped
    • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
    • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
    • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
    • 1 package (10 ounce) frozen peas
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 3 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled

    Instructions

    1. Place ingredients, in order given, in a 13 inch by 9 inch glass dish or large glass bowl.
       
    2. Chill 6 to 8 hours before serving.
