Weeknight Dinner Pork Fried Rice

"I prepped and cooked this pork fried rice in under 20 minutes. I used one of my favorite cooking shortcuts, which is steam-in-the-bag frozen rice. You can also use leftover rice for this meal. In fact, this fried rice is a “whatever you have on hand” kind of recipe. Cook it with the ingredients you have on hand for a wonderfully-quick and easy weeknight dinner!"

I love making fried rice because it is one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" recipes! I can always utilize extra veggies or meat that is leftover from other recipes during the week. I have started using sesame oil instead of soy sauce in my recipes and I like it so much better! Plus, I always throw in a little sriracha for some heat!

Nice and simple to prepare and very tasty too which all makes this a good dish for a week night dinner after a busy working day. I marinaded the pork overnight and we added some chopped fresh garlic and chili fresh from the garden. We also used additional veg like cauliflower, brocolli, snap peas and the family enjoyed it sufficiently to all have seconds.

My country is the 9th largest producer of rice in the world. As an Asian, rice will always compliment our meals, it is a staple food in my country, together with pork, chicken or fish as our choice of viand. It's a nice thing that I get to know other rice recipes. We usually eat plain rice, but now that i have known of this, I get to cook other rice recipes.

I was planning on making fried rice for dinner tonight! Perhaps I'll give this recipe a try.

I have always wanted to try making my own fried rice. I am going to try this with pork, shrimp, and chicken. I am a big fan of chicken so I am sure I will prefer that, but sometimes I do have extra pork so that would be fast. Maybe make it low carb by using riced cauliflower. I have never tried cooking with bok choy.

Does anyone know why you would crave rice? I have been craving rice lately and want to cook all sorts of rice recipes. I am loving them. I like pork and so am going to make this pork fried rice. I'm sure its going to taste delicious. It certainly looks delicious.

This sounds very delicious. I will have to give it a try. I have eaten chicken and pork fried rice in the past, but it always seemed dry and not enough vegetables. This recipe looks like it has plenty of meat and veggies. Serves it with some vegetable egg rolls on the side and it would be a perfect meal.

Yum! I could honestly eat rice for the rest of my life if I had to. I love that this only takes 15 minutes. I definitely want to try this recipe, although I'd probably add chicken instead of pork.
