Maggie G. Thank you so much for telling us what cookie butter was because I had no clue whatsoever. Now, where do you find it in the grocery store? I want to make this just to see what the cookie butter tastes like. I bet it is so delicious and creamy.

OOH I'm so excited to try this! My all-time favorite donut from a shop downtown is the biscoff doughnut. Now I can make it at home!

Don't get overwhelmed by this recipe! It is actually a fairly simple donut recipe. Most of the ingredients are found in the household already. Cookie butter is very similar to peanut butter or another nut butter but instead of nuts, it's made out of cookies! The cookies are ground up just like the nuts are. It's very deilcious! Trader Joe's sells one of the bets versions so definitely check it out! great for baking, putting on top of toast, or eating spoonfuls of at a time!
