Their Extra Virgin Olive Oil is truly some of the finest I have sampled. It is light and pure, but still has a hint of olive flavor. I think it works great as dipping oil for bread or a salad dressing base. You can also drizzle a little on pasta with a sprinkle of Parmesan for a light and decadent meal. The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is a fantastic complement to the Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It has the perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. I used the oil and vinegar to create one of the best salad dressings I have ever made.
Each box continues two large bags of their Penne Rigate pasta made in Gragnano, Italy. I was impressed by how much pasta was included in the box. The pasta tastes like it was made fresh that very day! The penne is thick and pairs nicely with all the sauces included in the box.
I loved each sauce that I tried: the two nuts sauces, Pesto and Walnut, as well as the red sauces. I am a huge fan of pesto and the Olio Carli version did not disappoint. I was new to walnut sauces, but loved this one! I loved the consistency; it was perfect for smearing on bread. The red sauces included one standard Arrabbiata sauce and one with basil. They were similar, but the Arrabbiata packed a little more flavor into every bite. I really liked the sun dried tomatoes in the sauce. The basil sauce had a lighter taste, but the basil flavor really came through. It actually tastes like freshly picked basil was mixed in!

These pasta sauces and oils were restaurant-quality. I felt like I was transported to an Italian piazza when dunking my bread in these olive oils and balsamic. The sauces were robust and hearty, served over perfect pasta. I loved each of these items, and would definitely serve them to guests at my next dinner party.

I love the authentic flavors of these pasta sauces and oils. I'm not much of a cook, so when I make Italian food, I rely on prepared sauces. These are some of the most fresh jarred sauces I've tasted, especially when combined with the al dente pasta. I served my pasta with crusty bread dipped in olive oil and the olive oil really took it to the next level. It has a hint of olive flavor that's often missing from others. When I have people over for dinner, I'm definitely making this pasta dinner again.

I thought this pasta bar was absolutely amazing. I was a big fan of the basil sauce, and i was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the walnut sauce too! I even had some bread mixed with the olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Superb!

This would be a great spread to give as a gift for someone hosting a dinner party. I'm always stumped at the kinds of food I should get when inviting guests over, and I think a sample of spreads/oils with bread and pasta would be a winner every time.

I really enjoyed the red sauces as well as the pesto. They all had really great robust flavors that worked wonderful as both dipping sauces and normal sauces to accompany pasta. I'd definitely use them again.

The Arrabbiata sauce was absolutely delicious! As a huge fan of Italian food, this sauce did not disappoint. It was slightly spicy, but not overwhelming, and had really great flavor you just wanted more of!

I tried the olive oil, pesto and the penne and all were delicious! As a huge Italian food lover, these definitely hit the spot. I'd definitely incorporate them in my everyday cooking, for sure!

This is probably the best gift box idea that exists. I love the variety of sauces and oils---perfect for parties! The olive oil was delicious. I pretty much drenched my bread in it.

The red sauces were quite oily but they sure were delicious. One of them had some nice heat to it. I Felt like I was in Italy even though I've never been there. The nut sauce tasted like aged cheese but that's okay because I love cheese.

This olive oil with some Parmesan cheese and bread makes a fantastic appetizer, and I loved the taste of the balsamic vinegar. This set has a great collection of sauces and dressings.

I loved the olive oil and would eat it with Italian bread any day! The pasta was a bit thicker than what I'm used to, so I think it would be good to eat al dente.

I really loved how thick the pasta was it was heartier than store-bought pasta, which I really enjoyed. The olive oil had a great fruity flavor, and the balsamic was perfectly sweet. I loved being able to toss the tomato sauces directly from the jar onto my hot pasta.
