Better Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients
- 1 strip orange peel
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 jigger warm golden rum
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 cinnamon stick piece
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- boiling cider
Instructions
- Place first 2 ingredients plus 1/2 jigger rum in a silver or pewter mug.
- Ignite rum and let it burn out.
- Add another jigger rum, butter and spices.
- Fill mug with boiling cider and stir to serve.
