How to Make Bisquick Chicken Tenders with No Egg

For those with egg allergies, or those who don't wish to use eggs for another reason, there are plenty of other ingredients you can use to adhere the Bisquick breading to your chicken tenders. Dredge your chicken tenders in buttermilk or heavy cream prior to adding the breading. If have a high quality mustard that you like, you can also use that! It will help the breading stick to the chicken, and it will give you a delicious mustard flavor in your chicken tenders.

This is probably the worst recipe I've ever tried in my life. First, it talks about salt being included in the bag...but the recipe doesn't call for salt. Then, it addresses what to do with half the nuggets...but not the other half. Who wrote this thing? Not surprisingly, based on the inattention to detail of the author, the recipe was awful--the Bisquick fell off half of the chicken strips (oh--and that's another thing...were these meant to be strips or nuggets, because both words are used) and they turned out a grayish color. Gross. I won't be using any recipes from this website again.

Does the dry mustard go with the dry ingredients or is it for the honey mustard sauce?

This shake and bake method is such a great way to make chicken fingers or nuggets and I love that they aren't fried. I'm not sure how I feel about using the mustard powder but I think the smoked paprika and parmesan is a wonderful combination...although, I might feel inclined to add a little pepper to the mix. I do have to say, however, the flour on the outside of the nuggets in the picture is weirding me out a little. ..and I'm hoping maybe spraying the nuggets with oil to ensure that doesn't happen again may fix the problem.

These were SO good! I need more of them in my life

Using Bisquick is a really creative touch. I need to try these pronto!

These certainly tasted healthier than your typical chicken nuggets because the Bisquick created a much lighter coating than I am used to. Not sure how they actually compare in the nutrition department, but the taste was fantastic! I love that they didn't have the heavy breading like most nuggets do.

These are pretty darn tasty, I must say.
