Chocolate Star Cookies
Here's an edible topper for the Christmas tree. Each one of these Chocolate Star Cookies has a candy star at its center.
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups soft butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup sifted flour
- 8 chocolate star candies
Instructions
- Cream the first 4 ingredients together. Stir in the flour.
- Chill in the bowl covered with wax paper for 1 hour. Shape into balls.
- Place a star candy onto the center of each cookie.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes.
