These Monte Cristo sandwiches look so good. I love eating sweet rolls. I find it interesting the way Mandy pours over the egg wash before she bakes the rolls. I have not done that before with rolls. I agree that salted ham may be better than honeyed ham as the contrast of sweet and salty will be nice.

Wow - these look really rich (but probably also amazing). I like cooking with Hawaiian rolls. It's so easy!

I was very happy to come across this recipe since I was looking for something easy to prepare for a potluck. This is a wonderful idea. Living in the south, there's a preponderance of country ham (ham that's salt-cured) and I'm curious about trying that in place of the honey ham given in the recipe. It has a much saltier taste (to me anyway) than regular ham and it might provide an interesting contrast to the sweetness of the rolls and powdered sugar.

Wow, I love the idea of making those delicious little sandwiches into little Monte Cristos! I am not sure how I feel about the powdered sugar on top, but it sure makes the sandwiches look pretty! I love those Hawaiian rolls and then to add ham and cheese is the best.

These look like such a great brunch addition! Ham, egg, and cheese are a breakfast favorite especially with some sweet Hawaiian bread. Plus, this recipe is super easy for the home cook! Perfect to make any morning turn into a special occasion.

These tasty little morsels are a great addition to a brunch buffet and nice option to eggy squares and quiches, a nce fruit salad and you're good!

I didn't really know what to expect with these sandwiches, but I enjoyed them! Hawaiian bread is always delicious!

The mix of sweet and savory here was very interesting! I was pleasantly surprised by these sandwiches.

Oh my goodness! These little morsels of tastiness are like baby Turkey O' Tools from Bennigan's. They may not include prezel bread but Hawaiian bread is the next best thing... maybe even better!

I was absolutely starving, so these of course hit the spot. I really enjoyed the powdered sugar on top; it gave it a touch of sweetness.
