This is a great go - to recipe to have on hand when serving guests. It is easy to prepare and the recipe makes a LOT of food. When serving only a few people, I might cut the recipe in half. Since it uses ground beef, it is much more economical than the steak versions I have made before. I used 2 cloves of fresh minced garlic instead of the powder, and the sauce was flavorful and rich.

I love this Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff recipe. It is so hardy and full of flavor, and perfect for a week night dinner. The recipe is well written and easy to follow. You really can whip this up in a snap. There is what I assume is a "typo" in step 3 of the instructions. It says pour in the sherry "or" beef broth, I believe that is supposed to be "and". I poured in both and it was great. Serve this with a nice green salad and crispy bread for a well rounded dinner.

Beef Stroganoff is one of my favorite dishes so I was interested to see this ground beef version. Well, it is really good! Please do not be put off by the number of ingredients because it is well worth it. The resulting flavors are so much better than when simply adding a can of something pre made. Bon apptit!
