Crystal's Buffalo Chicken Wings

Crystal's Buffalo Chicken Wings

These hot wings are really easy to make, as is the blue cheese dressing that is traditionally served with them. Add a few celery sticks and you're good to go!

Cooking Time: 45 min

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 bottle hot pepper sauce, such as Crystal's sauce
  • 1 ounce crumbled bleu cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • celery sticks
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Lop the tips off the chicken wings and cut into drummettes. Discard tips or use for stock.

  3. Bake drummettes in a flat pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

  4. Drain pan juices into stock pot for future use.

  5. Add Crystal's Sauce, either medium or hot, and cook another 20 minutes.

  6. Prepare dip by mixing bleu cheese, mayonnaise, and milk.

  7. Arrange wings on a platter while piping hot. The wings are traditionally served with bleu cheese and celery.
