Carefree Creamed Spinach

There is no better way to make a party even better than with a fantastic dip. Carefree Creamed Spinach is my famous spinach dip that always bodes well with the crowd. Serve with your favorite bread or crackers and dip in!

Preparation Time: 5 min

Cooking Time: 10 min

  • 1 pound frozen spinach, defrosted
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 4 ounces low fat cream cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 1/4 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  1. Preheat skillet with butter to medium high heat and add flour. Let it cook for minute mixing constantly.
  2. Add the stock and mix. Then add spinach and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add cream cheese, garlic and parsley and let the cream cheese to melt completely.
  4. Remove from the stove and sprinkle feta cheese on top.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
