Baked Greek Fries

"These Baked Greek Fries are nothing short of delicious. Sure, the Greek restaurant fries their fries…but you can get something close via the oven. (Although I should say that baked fries are best served right out of the oven. Once they cool off, baked fries get kinda soggy. I mean, I’d still eat ’em…especially if they’re covered in feta cheese!) If you’re not in the mood to slice up some taters yourself, you could totally use frozen fries. Just bake ’em up and then use the toppings from the recipe below. I promise this will be quickly become a favorite appetizer/side dish!"

OMGOMGOMGOMG YES. There is a cute little Greek restaurant down the street from my job, and I am obsessed with their fries (so much so that I used to get them at least three times a week while on my lunch but that's neither here nor there). I can't wait to try this out at home!

I love fries, but I am not familiar with Greek fries at all. After reading the blog post of the chef, I see that Greek fries are way different than the traditional fries we all know. Its looks and sounds like it is a few salad items with some fries thrown in the mix instead of croutons? Not sure if I will try this idea, but it is different.

These look great! I'm a big fan of cheese fries with bacon, and chili cheese fries. This is a great addition to the possibilities. I like that the potatoes aren't peeled before slicing. I've always liked fries with the skins left on. I love this as something to munch on while watching TV, and I think having some tzatziki sauce on the side as a dipping sauce would be a perfect compliment to this.

OK, so one of my all-time favorite sides are French Fries. I usually just squirt out a little ketchup and I am good to go. When I get fancy, I sprinkle a little apple cider vinegar. What can I say, I am a plain Jane. My husband on the other hand would jump all over this. In an effort to try new things, I think I will make this on our next TV night. This may take the place of the popcorn.

Baked French fries with yummy toppings. I would use this as a complete meal myself. Move over ketchup, you have been replaced.

Yeah, this is definitely a side that requires a fork. It looks amazing though! Can't wait to test it out.

I am a little skeptical about these fries. Even though I love this idea and of course, love Greek flavors, like feta and olives, how do the toppings stay on the fries?! You would definitely need to eat these with a fork or even make a Greek salad with fries on top? Just a suggestion on how to make these yummy fries work!
