Recipes using Bisquick are simple and oh so tasty, and this basic biscuit recipe is proof of that. Know how to make biscuits that will have everyone asking for seconds with this homemade Bisquick recipe.

Cooking Time: 10 min

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 5 pounds Bisquick
  • 44 ounces water, cold
  • 1 pound sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1/2 cup butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. Mix bisquick, water and cheese. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

  4. After baking, (while hot) brush on melted butter or margarine mixed with garlic powder, parsley flakes and Italian seasoning. Serve hot.

  5. Note: For a smaller batch I usually use 2 cup Bisquick, 1/2 cup cold water, and 3/4 cup grated cheddar,  yielding about 12 biscuits. You may also substitute soda water or gingerale for the water, if desired.
