Nana's Secret Angel Dessert


For an unexpected treat that not many people have tasted before, try making Nana's Secret Angel Dessert. It has so many different flavors and textures, your mouth will be wowed by this incredible concoction. Angel cake cubes coated in a delicious mixture of cream cheese and vanilla pudding... what's not to love about this amazing easy dessert recipe? Nana sure knows what she's doing in the kitchen, and this treat is one of her best.

Serves: 6

  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3-3/4 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups angel cake cubes
  • 1 can (13-14 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (2 oz.) package dessert topping mix
  1. In a small mixer bowl, gradually blend milk into cream cheese, beating until smooth.
  2. Add pudding mix and beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour pudding mixture over angel cake cubes, stirring to coat.
  4. Turn into a 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Spread drained pineapple over top.
  5. Prepare dessert topping mix according to package directions. Spread over top. Chill several hours or overnight.
