Cherry Trifle

Ingredients
  • 3/4 pint Birds Custard
  • 6 large macaroons
  • 1 pound stewed cherries
Instructions

Break up the macaroons into a glass dish and allow to soak in the cherry syrup for an hour. Add layer of cherries and then pour hot custard over cherries. Allow to cool and then decorate with whipped cream and crushed nuts.
