    Ingredients

    • 4 ounces can mushrooms
    • 1 1/2 pound round steak, cubed
    • 4 stalks celery
    • 2 medium onions
    • 1 cup hot water with 3 bouillon cubes
    • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 pound can Chinese vegetables
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water

    Instructions

    1. Combine ingredients and cook 8 to 10 hours in slow cooker on low.
       
    2. 1 hour before serving add Chinese vegetables and cornstarch and water.

    I wonder how it would be using shrimp instead of round steak. I used to love Shrimp Chow Mein by LaChoy, but they discontinued it. I have tried to find a copy cat recipe and have been unable to find one.

    Hi Crafter 0447227, You can always use fresh vegetables. I would recommend steaming the Chinese vegetables and letting them sit and cool while your slow cooker is cooking and then adding them as directed. -Editors of RecipeLion
