Easy Rhubarb Dump Cake

We love any recipe for dump cake because it's just so darn easy! Easy Rhubarb Dump Cake is a delicious cake mix recipe that is basically fool-proof. With just 4 ingredients, not only is this cake recipe easy but it's also budget-friendly. Simply dump the ingredients in a pan and let it cook for an hour. When it's done, you'll have a sweet rhubarb and strawberry-flavored cake that will put some sunshine in your day.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (3-ounce) package strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
     
  2. Layer all the ingredients, in the order given above, in a 9x13 cake pan.
     
  3. Drizzle butter over the top.
     
  4. Bake for 1 hour.

I assume that you use the cake mix dry, with no added ingredients, not prepared according to package directions.

Too sweet!!! I make it without the jello and with only 1/2 a cup of sugar. The whole family loves this one!!
