Pecan Monkey Bread

When it comes to this bread, there is no monkey business! This bread uses crunchy pecans and spicy cinnamon. Make this monkey bread recipe for all your friends. Trust me, they will go ape over it!

Cooking Time: 40 min

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Instructions
  1. Sprinkle pecans evenly in bottom of well-greased 10 inch bundt pan. Set pan aside.
     
  2. Combine sugar with cinnamon, creating a sugar/cinnamon mixture.
     
  3. Cut biscuits into quarters. Roll each piece in the sugar/cinnamon mixture and layer in the pan.
     
  4. Combine brown sugar and butter. Pour over dough.
     
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.
     
  6. Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes.
     
  7. Invert onto serving platter.
     
  8. Pull apart to eat.
     
  9. Yields one 10 inch coffee cake.
