You're probably thinking, chicken? With bacon? With Banana? All on one stick? And you should be, but Chicken, Bacon and Banana Kabobs are a scrumptious, salty and sweet appetizer. You'll shock your guests with this easy party appetizer recipe.

Ingredients
  • 8 to 12 chicken thighs, skinned and boned
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 to 6 slices bacon
  • 2 bananas
  • Kabob skewers (soaked a few hours to prevent burning)
Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken into large cubes.

  2. Blend the sugar, Worcestershire and soy sauce and marinate the chicken overnight.

  3. Slice the bananas into 4 - 6 pieces. Wrap the bacon around the bananas.

  4. Thread the chicken and bacon wrapped bananas onto the skewers. Brush with the excess marinade and grill under a low grill for 10 - 15 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade occasionally.

  5. Serve over noodles or rice with a fruity chutney.
