Bourbon Chicken

"This Easy 20 Minute Bourbon Chicken is a copycat of the Chinese mall food classic: tender chicken coated in a tangy, sticky sauce with sweet and savory flavors. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that’s irresistible down to the last bite! You can serve it with confidence to the entire family, since the alcohol boils off completely during cooking leaving only its unique flavor. Serve it on rice with a green vegetable like broccoli for a complete meal. So good!"

This Bourbon Chicken recipe has everything you are looking for when the desire for Asian food hits, but you don't have to look through the "junk" draw for the take out menu. It is so easy to prepare, the recipe is well written and concise, and the result is a flavorful, sweet and savory, and in my case a bit spicy (I added red pepper flakes) dinner that you will be proud to serve your family. I used boneless chicken thighs (my favorite part of the chicken) cut into chunks and it was absolutely perfect.

From the picture I am looking at, I love the fact that there is a lot of sauce on that chicken. Some places are greedy with their bourbon sauce coating the chicken but with this easy recipe, I can control how much goes on and my family likes a lot of sauce on their chicken.
