Monster Cookies

Monster cookies are a fan-favorite for a reason! They're delicious and bursting with candy goodness.

Monster Cookies

Monster cookies have always been a bake sale favorite, and it's easy to see why. These delicious cookies are packed full of different candies for a dessert that is the ultimate indulgence. We also love that the oats and peanut butter lend these cookies a delicious chewy texture and salty peanut flavor. They are hearty enough to stand up to being dunked in a glass of milk, but we also think they're great with coffee or tea. No matter how you choose to enjoy these cookies, we think you're in for a pretty great snack time!

From the Chef: "If you can’t quite decide what you’re in the mood for, these Monster Cookies have you covered. With peanut butter, oats, M&M’s, and chocolate chips, they’re a dream dessert for the indecisive baker . . . or when you’re looking to use up some leftover Halloween candy." - Addie Gundry

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add the egg, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Mix until well combined.

  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually add to the butter mixture. Mix until combined, being careful to not overmix. Fold in the oats, M&M’s, chocolate chips, and chocolate candy sprinkles. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Using a cookie scoop, shape the dough into 2-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Top with extra chocolate candy sprinkles.

  4. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes.

  5. Cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes; the cookies will firm slightly as they cool. Serve.
