Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

This cheesesteak bake recipe turns a traditional dish into a tasty dinner idea.

Fans of the famous Philidelphia hoagie are sure to adore this creative casserole idea. This Philly cheesesteak recipe combines tasty sliced veggies, beef steak, and more to make one tasty lunch or dinner idea. Unlike making individual sammys, this Philly cheesesteak bake recipe allows you to make sandwiches for your whole family in one casserole pan. If you are looking for a yummy recipe to serve a crowd, this casserole is a tasty option and perfect for potlucks or big game nights. Our Philly cheesesteak casserole is unique because it is baked without the sandwich bread, making it easy to serve several nights in a row without the bread getting too soggy or limp.

From the Chef: While Philadelphians debate where to find the best cheesesteak in their city, I am popping my casserole version of the legendary sandwich in the oven! With thinly sliced steak, peppers, and cheese folded into a toasted hoagie, this casserole is a fun way to replicate the original.
