This is a really yummy apple fritter bread recipe for when I want to spend time puttering around the kitchen. It's mentioned in the recipe about using almond milk in place of regular milk. I had never tried that before, but it sounds interesting. I like to incorporate slivered almonds in apple fritters and the suggestion of walnuts is also a good one. I'd also add some raisins since I've enjoyed apple fritters that have had them before.
