I love trying new recipes, especially for something I never heard of before. Honestly, I did not know what a rouladen was until I came across the Traditional Beef Rouladen recipe. It looked so good, I just had to try it. I am not familiar with German cuisine, but the recipe is well written and easy to follow, and I have to say it is absolutely delicious. The gravy is so rich and abundant, I served it over egg noodles with crispy bread.
