This leads me to the conclusion that wheat humidity depends on the season, and how much rain there was where it was growing. When making garlic knots this time, the flour was "thirstier" than usual. When you make them, pay attention to the softness of the dough. If your fingers are sticky, knead the dough for a minute or two longer. If it does not work, add a pinch of extra flour…"

Such a fun and tasty idea to entertain guests...or make for a snack to indulge in on a Friday night! I'm definitely going to whip up a batch soon.

What a very tasty little munchie to have as a snack whether before a barbecue or even at a drinks party which is what I made them for. They were definitely good because they were snapped up in record time. The only change I made was to add some coarse salt in the garlic mixture spread over the baked Garlic Knots. A bit fiddly to make, for me anyway, but definitely worth the effort!
