Chinese Sweet & Sour Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup malt vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with 2-3 tablespoons water
Instructions
Mix the cornstarch with water and set liquid aside. Throw everything else in a saucepan and heat. When mixture is hot, add cornstarch mixture slowly, while stirring, until the right consistency is reached.
