I love that this idea uses little crocks for the potatoes. I never thought of presenting my guests with a cute little side in a small container all on it's own. I can't wait to have a dinner party and serve my guests this side to see what they think, but I will have to spend the time to make homemade potatoes because everyone always wants me to make them fresh. I can save a ton of time with the bacon bits though.

This is a really cute idea for presenting loaded mashed potatoes. I would opt for using real butter in the recipe instead of the Country Crock, along with cheddar or cheddar jack rather than the colby jack. For an added kick, I might also add some shredded pepper jack cheese on top. I like the idea of being able to customize each individual serving. My wife isn't a fan of things with heat, while for me the hotter, the better.

I think this recipe is great. I want to serve it at the dinner table when I have guests as a side dish. I think it will be a definite conversation starter. I like this new trend of eating out of jars. I ate a salad out of a jar the other day at a restaurant. It was fun, I felt like a kid with a lucky packet.

Yeah. Talk about a convenient way to bring lunch to work. For that alone this is fantastic!

These are a great for work lunches - add a salad and it is a complete meal. The author mentions that the jars she used were not oven safe - be sure to find jars you can put in the microwave to reheat (without the lid!). Inexpensive and yummy lunch.

Individual servings make for a unique presentation! The recipe is pretty good, but the presentation is what really sells it. YUM

I love jar recipes! They make things so much more fun and give it a rustic feel.
