Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (14-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup minute rice, uncooked
  • 6 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut up

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Combine meat and 1/2 cup of the sauce. Spread into a greased 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
     
  3. Mix remaining sauce with rice and spoon over meat.
     
  4. Sprinkle with cheese and cover with foil.
     
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
     
  6. Remove foil. Continue baking, uncovered, about 15 minutes.
     
  7. Let stand 10 minutes. Carefully drain off any fat, then cut into 6 wedges to serve.
