Margaret's Red Chili Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup or heaping Tbsp bacon grease
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2-3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2-4 cup water
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp cumino

Instructions

Brown flour in bacon grease. Add garlic. Shake chili powder into 2 cup water. Add slowly to flour stirring constantly. Add more water to desired consistency and thickness. Season with cumino. Use for enchiladas, eggs, turkey sandwiches, etc.
