Turkey Sloppy Joes
Make healthier sloppy joes with turkey rather than ground beef. A homemade BBQ sauce with cumin and brown sugar keeps the meat moist and flavorful.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup peppers (diced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white onion (diced)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Heat skillet over moderate heat. Add turkey, cook 7-9 minutes stirring and breaking up lumps.
- Add remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on favorite rolls
