Cracker Barrel Chocolate Cobbler [Copycat]
Chocolate cherry cobbler is about to become your new favorite dessert.
Chocolate and cherry is a winning combination. Try them together in this delicious copycat version of Cracker Barrel chocolate cobbler. This is perfect served warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top. This recipe eats more like a brownie than a cobbler, but you won't hear us complaining.
A sweet, thick sea of Maraschino cherries rests beneath a deliciously dense chocolate cakey layer, making this "cobbler" one you won't soon forget. Topped off with a sprinkling of your choice of nuts and a helping of whipped cream, you won't know whether to take a picture of this dessert or eat it.
Another thing we love about this chocolate cobbler recipe is that it's so easy to make. You probably have most of the ingredients in your pantry already! Don't let those leftover cans of cherry filling go to waste. Use them in this amazing recipe that the whole family will love.

The pictures show nuts in this dessert but the recipe and video do not mention them. What type of nutes are used and when do you add them?

I do not eat at Cracker Barrel but this Cherry Chocolate Cobbler looks delicious and I know my family will love this. I would never know it was that easy to make. There is a super great video and then a written recipe too. What a great dessert for a get together or an office party. So fast to make but people will think you took hours to make.

This recipe could very well replace my cravings for chocolate covered cherries. I can only imagine how amazing it's going to be and the dark chocolate is the best part. Maybe I need to take a trip to Cracker Barrel and see what they have to offer...they seem to have a lot of delicious sounding recipes, but I think this may be my favorite so far.

Oh, this reminds me of spending Sunday afternoon with my grandpa after church or when a family member came to town after a long time. We would go to Cracker Barrel and have dinner and spend hours catching up and enjoying each other's company. What a trip back down memory lane. I can't wait to try this recipe out and see if it still tastes the same.

Chocolate with cherries is about the only way I will eat pie cherries. I like sweet cherries, but those are not for cooking. The description says they are maraschino cherries, but the video and ingredient list calls for cherry pie filling. They are two different things. I will have to try this. My family, minus me, loves pie cherries. They will love this dessert.
