Banana Cream Bread with Chocolate

Banana Cream Bread with Chocolate makes a delicious triple-threat dessert! It's got a creamy sweetness that can't be matched by plain banana bread.

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 small bananas, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup miniature chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  1. Blend butter, cream cheese, and sugar in mixer until creamy.
  2. Add bananas, egg and sour cream.
  3. Stir flour with chocolate chips, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add to butter mixture and stir until just mixed.
  5. Pour into buttered 5x9 loaf pan.
  6. Bake in 325 degrees F oven for 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until edges pull away from pan.
