I was talking about a pork chop recipe earlier as comfort food. This pork chops and gravy recipe looks equally as comforting. It sounds as if the gravy will be delicious and tempting to eat with the mashed potatoes. I would make some mixed veggies to go with that gravy too.

what kind of soup Cream of mushroom or Golden Mushroom

what kind of mushroom soup Cream of mushroom or Golden Mushroom

Not much flavor, to much tomato past,,, easy and tender.

What size can of Tomato Paste? What size jar slice mushrooms?

think the chops should have been browned before going inti the crock pot, but will see at 5;30 WHEN THEY ARE DONE

maybe when they are done????

boneless or bone-in pork chops?

Try a couple of pkgs. of that dehydrated onion soup mix and add about 1 1/2 cup of water. If it happens to be too thin when finished cooking, add in that mixture of flour and water, you know that all time favorite thickener we've all used. My mom and sister HATE mushrooms so many times i substitute onions for the gravy instead.

i'm going to try them myself.

I made these last night, husband LOVED them.....I added 2 cans of Golden Mushroom, small can of tomato paste......

what can size for tom. paste and what can size for mushrooms?
