Crispy Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Crispy Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Crispy Crusted Pork Tenderloin is a basic pork tenderloin recipe that produces a delicious dinner. It's simple to prepare, but it's not boring. The crispy breadcrumbs add a nice crunch to the tender pork. I served this pork tenderloin with roasted potatoes and roasted veggies. It was a delicious meal that I would gladly make again. If you're an inexperienced cook, you can still make this pork tenderloin recipe. I haven't made much pork myself, so I was a little nervous about this recipe. However, there was no need to worry because it came out just right. I checked it after 40 minutes, but the pork hadn't hit 170 degrees yet. After 5 more minutes, it was there. Make sure to turn the pan while baking so the tenderloin bakes evenly. If you notice any extra breadcrumbs burning on the pan, you can remove them during this time. For a delicious, meaty dinner, try this Crispy Crusted Pork Tenderloin today!

Notes

I made this pork with World's Easiest Roasted Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables.

Cooking Time45 min

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin (I used two 1-pound pork tenderloins)
  • 2 cups garlic herb or Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Mix bread crumbs and olive oil to consistencey that will stick to meat when pressed, such as the consistencey of a graham cracker crust mixture.

  3. Coat pork with the bread crumb mixture on all sides by pressing with hands. Make sure that there are no pink areas showing through the coating, approximately 1/4 inch thick on all sides.

  4. Place uncovered on baking sheet and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until meat thermometer reaches 170 degrees F. Let meat rest on pan for ten minutes and cut into slices.

Terrible recipe, way too dry and tasteless. Both the tenderloins and the potatoes were too crusty on the bottom.Complete waste od two beautiful tendeloins!

Hi, its me again, reporting the result of this recipe. I finally got the pork chops and made this recipe a few nights ago. They were awesome! This crispy pork is definitely our favorite now! Its super easy, and super yummy! I made some slight changes to the recipe though. I dont have Italian breadcrumbs, so I use plain panko instead. I marinated the pork chops with salty soy sauce, black pepper and garlic powder before I covered them with panko.

As my family and I try to eat less rice, Im looking for dishes to be eaten with potatoes. This pork recipe looks great. Crispy (Hmm sounds tasty) and only need 3 ingredients. So simple. I wish to try this recipe this week. 3 slices of pork tenderloin are added to my shopping list

Yummmm I love the sound of this crispy crusted pork tenderloin.I Imagine eating it with the crispy tobacco onions I looked at earlier. A honey glaze does sound good too and I may look into making that as well. I do believe you need some sort of sauce or marinade of some kind with this dish.

Mmmm, I loved this! I ate mine with a honey glaze, which was a wonderful complement to the dish.

I cannot believe this recipe only had 3 ingredients! The crust adds the perfect crunch to the juicy pork! Yum!

Yum! I'm not usually a big pork person, but I liked this. The breading gave it that little something extra for sure.

I had never had breaded pork tenderloin before, but this recipe has converted me! I loved the texture the breadcrumbs added to every bite of pork. Next time I would make a simple gravy or glaze to accompany this delicious pork.
