Banana Split Brownie Pizza

My favorite ingredients all rolled into one recipe. You can't ask for much more. Brownies with bananas, strawberries and pineapple is such a great recipe. You can make these for your next family get together.

Ingredients

  • 1 package brownie mix
  • 16 cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 8 crushed pineapple, drained
  • banana slices
  • strawberry slices
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1 ounce semisweet chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  2. Prepare brownie mix in Batter Bowl according to package directions.

  3. Place Parchment Paper on 15-inch Baking Stone.

  4. Pour brownie mixture on paper and spread into a 14-inch circle. (Do not bake without Parchment Paper or batter will run off Stone while baking.)

  5. Bake 15-20 minutes or until set.

  6. Cool to room temperature.

  7. Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

  8. Spread over brownie "crust".

  9. Top with fruit and nuts.

  10. Melt chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.

  11. Drizzle over pizza.

  12. Chill.

  13. Cut into wedges with Pizza Cutter.

Now, this dessert is a total show stopper! Can you imagine bringing out this masterpiece at a summer barbeque? It looks like you've put out way more effort than it actually is. My nephew really likes non-traditional birthday treats (ie. not a cake) so we are always looking for alternatives. I think that he is going to go nuts for this! You can really customize it with the toppings that you choose to sprinkle on top. I can't wait to give this a whirl!

This looks really intense, and also delicious. Sign me up!

i don't have a baking stone...what else could i use? batter bowl..?

If you don't have a baking stone, I think you could use either a pizza tray or even a large baking sheet. You could make this any shape you, like - even square or rectangular! Either way this recipe looks delicious and I can't wait to try it myself!!

is it safe to assume that the crushed pineapple listed in the ingredients list is an 8 oz can? thanks for this great recipe. i can't wait to try it!!!!! MrsMo
