Simply Sweet Peach Cobbler

Simply sweet peach cobbler is both simple and sweet, making it an easy peach cobbler recipe for anyone to make. Five ingredients make up this dish that you can take to parties, cookouts or simply enjoy with your family.

  • 1 can sliced peaches, 29-ounces
  • 2/3 to 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Drain fruit and reserve liquid.
  3. Mix sugar and corn starch in saucepan.
  4. Stir in fruit juice gradually, bring to boil.
  5. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly; add fruit, pour into 1 1/2 quart (or 9"x13") baking dish; dot with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon.



  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar 3
  • Tbsp shortening
  • 1/2 cup milk
  1. Mix flour and sugar, cut in shortening and  add milk.
  2. Stir until ingredients are blended.
  3. Spoon dough onto fruit and baake 25-30 minutes; serve warm.

what is 1 tablespoon sugar 3

I think they mean 1 T. sugar and 3 T. shortening; the 3 was not put in the correct line.
