I have never made my own noodles before and, although my first attempt at following this recipe was edible (but only JUST) I feel my method does need quite a bit of practice. The cooked noodles were a little bready but I know exactly where I went wrong so am looking forward to trying this again!

I've always liked homemade noodles, but I confess to often finding it easier to simply open a box or open a bag. This looks delicious and makes me want to clear some counter space and give this a go. I don't often serve noodles as a side dish, preferring to incorporate them into the main dish. I do like the simplicity, though, of serving them with a bit of butter and parsley. I think these noodles would also be ideal with a bit of crumbled bacon added in.
