Fried Gizzards or Livers

Ingredients

  • gizzards or livers (chicken)
  • salt
  • flour
  • 4 Tbsp. Crisco oil

Instructions

Buy enough gizzards so that each person can have 6 to 8 gizzards or livers. Wash and clean gizzards or livers; sprinkle with salt. Roll in flour. Place in preheated oil. Fry just until breading is a golden brown. Serve immediately.
