Keftaides Tiny Fried Meatballs (cyprus).
- 3/4 kilo minced pork (or beef) meat
- 1 cup grated potatoes
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together and knead. Leave for half an hour or so. With approximately one tablespoon of minced meat mixture make into small meat balls. Fry in a big pan with a little hot oil until light brown. They can be served hot or cold.
