Putenschnitzel

Ingredients

  • 4 turkey slices
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • butter
  • 3 ounces dry white wine
  • 5 ounces gorgonzola
  • 4 ounces sour cream
  • 1 tbs green pepper
  • 1 tbs gin
  • 1 tbs parsley, finely chopped
  • mustard to taste

Instructions

Turkeyschnitzel with Gorgonzola and Green Pepper. Salt and pepper turkey slices, dust with flour. In large pan saute onions in butter until transparent. Place turkey slices on top of onions, fry on both sides till lightly browned and done. Add wine a bit at a time. Cook for 1 minute, remove Schnitzel and place side by side in a baking form. Preheat oven to 375F. Mash Gorgonzola with fork and add to onions. Melt cheese on medium heat. Add sour cream (preferred: Creme Fraiche), green pepper, parsley, gin and cook until sauce is thickened. If necessary, add some more wine. Add mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Pour sauce over Schnitzel and bake @ 450F for 15 minutes.
