Honey Roasted Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 large pineapple
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • juice of 2 limes
  • salt
  • coarse ground black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 500 F. Brush both sides of pineapple slices with honey/ Place on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, flip skices over. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, return to oven for another 10 minutes. When pineapple is lightly browned on both sides remove from oven and sprinkle with lime juice. Cut into wedges and serve warm. Serve as an appetizer or a dessert.
