Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

Can anything beat the combination of chocolate and peanut butter? We don't think so! This recipe for Frozen Peanut Butter Pie will show you how to whip up a decadent peanut butter pie filling and a chocolate crunch crust! There's nothing more heavenly than rich dessert recipes like this one, so try a slice tonight.

  • 1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped or 4 ounce tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • Chocolate fudge ice cream topping
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet choclate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
  1. To prepare chocolate crunch crust:  In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt butter or margarine and the semi-sweet choclate chips.
  2. Remove from heat and gently stir in Rice Krispies until completely coated.
  3. Press mixture onto bottom and sides of a buttered 9" or 10" pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes.


  1. To prepare pie filling: In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  2. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk and then peanut butter. Beat until smooth.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
  4. Fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip.
  5. Turn mixture into prepared crust. Drizzle chocolate fudge topping over pie.
  6. Freeze four hours or until firm. Freeze left overs.

You could use cocoa krispies for the crust and eliminate a lot of time.
