I make these all the time different flavors as well my girls really love the Tropical Punch flavor you will love it taste like a fruit pie. I really like the idea of the cool whip on top will have to try that. I share this recipe all the time with family and friends it a big hit and is a very easy recipe to make

Sounds like a real easy recipe. It does not say whether it is supposed to be sweetened or unsweetened cool ade. I'm guessing unsweetened. Can somebody let me know for sure.

@carol...unsweetened kool-aid is best. And you can use any flavor Kool-aid. For Easter I make Grape, Strawberry, and Lemonade. During 4th of July...I try for the red white and blue pies....

i have been making this for years only difference is after i combine condensed milk and any flavor kool-aid, i put a 12oz cool-whip in it and pour it into 2 graham cracker crust then i put 8 oz cool-whip on top then freeze. it takes five mins. to put together and they are so good

This is also great with strawberry flavored Kool-Aid
